If you work with partners that sell your products online they can link to your frontoffice with a referral code in the URL which will identify the booking with the referring partner.
Each time someone books a product that has a referral code in the URL, Bookinglayer associates the booking with the relevant partner.
In order to set up the referral code, follow the steps below:
1. Go to Settings > Partnerships
2. Click to add a partnership or edit an existing one
3. In the side modal on the right, enter a referral code:
The referral code can be used on any of your products in the frontoffice.
To sell a specific product using the referral code, paste the code right after the URL.
In the example below, the referral code is 123abc. To make this code work in the frontoffice
should be pasted right after the product URL, as per screenshot below:
Partners can then link their "Book Now" buttons on their website to frontoffice URL's with the referral code included.
Note the referral code disappears once the customer navigates to a different page on the booking form - this is not an issue as the referral code is stored on the initial page-load and all the way through to checkout.
